LessonJet
The editor, and a template
Where everything is, and starting from a finished design.
LessonJet makes short training videos, right in your browser.
Finding your way
- The strip down the left opens Templates, Courses, Projects, Media, Stock, Text and more.
- Your video sits in the middle, with the timeline underneath.
- The panel on the right shows whatever you have selected.
Starting from a template
Open Templates and click one. The pictures, the music and the timing are done, and it opens on the canvas, ready for your words. It saves as you go, and waits under Projects.
Ready-made courses
Courses holds whole training courses. The teaching is done: put your name on one, and press Embed.
Your words and pictures
Change the words, add pictures and clips, and write the script.
Changing the words
Click any words on the canvas. The panel on the right shows them under Content: type your own. The same panel sets when they show, how they arrive, and their size, weight and colour.
Pictures and clips
- Media holds your own files. Press + to bring them in.
- Stock has free videos, photos and music.
- Text adds titles, captions and more.
In Media, click a file to add it at the end, or drag it onto the timeline to place it.
The script
Press Project in the panel on the right. Script holds what gets said in the video.
Put it on your website
Embed it with a link or a snippet, or export a video file.
Embed
Press Embed at the top. Your video goes live at once:
- Direct link: send it to anyone.
- Embed code: paste it into your own website, and the video plays right there.
Export
Want a file instead? Press Export, pick the resolution and the quality, and press Start export. You get an MP4. Keep the tab open until it finishes; it waits in Downloads.
